Celtics On Verge of Advancing to ECF As Pacers Face Elimination

Boston Can Clinch Series Sweep Monday

Indiana's Season in Danger as Celtics Hold 3-0 Lead

The Boston Celtics are one win away from advancing to the Eastern Conference Finals after taking a commanding 3-0 lead over the Indiana Pacers. The Celtics have been dominant on the road in these playoffs, posting a perfect 5-0 record. They will have a chance to close out the series and earn a berth in the ECF when they host the Pacers in Game 4 on Monday night.

The Pacers, meanwhile, are facing elimination and must win Game 4 to stay alive in the series. They have shown resilience in the playoffs despite being riddled with injuries, but they will need to find a way to slow down the Celtics' high-powered offense if they want to extend the series.

In Game 3, the Celtics took an early lead and never looked back. They led by as many as 26 points in the fourth quarter before holding on for a 119-114 victory. Jayson Tatum led the way for Boston with 30 points, while Jaylen Brown and Marcus Smart added 23 and 18 points, respectively.

The Pacers were led by Tyrese Haliburton, who had 22 points. However, he was the only Pacers player to score in double figures in the second half. The Pacers shot just 39.8% from the field and 25.0% from three-point range in the game.

The Celtics are now heavily favored to win Game 4 and advance to the ECF. The Pacers, meanwhile, will need to play their best game of the series if they want to extend the series. Game 4 is scheduled to tip off at 7:00 p.m. ET on Monday night.
