Leonard Albert Kravitz, known to most as Lenny Kravitz, was born on May 26, 1964, in Brooklyn, New York. An only child, Kravitz is the son of Sy Kravitz, a TV news producer, and Roxie Roker, an actress who played Helen Willis on the iconic sitcom The Jeffersons.
Kravitz is a multi-talented artist who has made a name for himself as a singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and actor.
