Brad Pitt's Daughter Legally Changes Name
Actor Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt, daughter of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, has filed a petition with the Los Angeles County Superior Court to legally change her name to Shiloh Jolie. Two sources familiar with the matter confirmed the news to NBC News on Wednesday.
Shiloh, who turned 18 on Tuesday, submitted the paperwork to legally remove Pitt from her name on the day she became an adult. The reasons for her decision have not been publicly disclosed.
Shiloh's parents, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, have been separated since 2016 and divorced in 2019. The former couple share six children together: Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Vivienne, and Knox. Shiloh is the couple's first biological child.
It is unclear when Shiloh's name change will be finalized. The court process for changing one's name typically takes several weeks or months.
